Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) has been awarded a certificate and a trophy after emerging the second best winner in the category of High Learning Institutions and Vocation Training at the national level Nanenane Exhibitions held in Bariadi, Simiyu from 1st to 8th August, 2019.

Various categories of SUA displays impressed at the Nanenane Exhibitions.These categories include processed food, leather goods, Hero Rats for detection of land mines and TB, mobile soil testing kit, plant propagation materials including tissue cultured banana, tree seedlings, timber and non-timber products. Other displays were processing of animal feeds, raising of local chickens, afya data device for identification of zoonotic diseases, diagnosis of animal and fish diseases, their treatments and management, techniques of fighting against elephant poaching, cat urine products for rodent control, mkulima collection and admission information and services for SUA prospective students.
