SUA and SWISSCONTACT Achieve Outstanding Outcomes in Strengthening Youths Skills and Employment in Horticulture as Agribusiness

Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), through the Institute for Continuing Education (ICE) is relentlessly increasing efforts of sharing to communities within and outside Tanzania knowledge, skills, technology and various innovations produced by SUA, and in collaboration with other stakeholders, and in this particular case the SWISSCONTACT.

Following youths training on horticulture as agribusiness, concrete outcomes have emerged confirming an increased employment of youths from Morogoro Municipality in seedlings propagation businesses. Such outcomes were revealed recently when ICE, SUA conducted follow-up visits to youths who received the training which aimed at increasing skills and youths’ employment.
